Another is because, since I'm already in my second year of Japanese, I want to read manga in Japanese and want it to be HanaDan!!

Ah right! And since you've got the English versions, it'll be really helpful as reading practice. =) I love reading manga in Japanese now~ It seems so natural, and you pick up a lot of the everyday vocab as well as plenty of grammar structures. ^^v The only manga in Japanese I shy away from is Josei (except 7 Seeds, but then I always have dictionaries to help with all the scientific jargon XP) and historical ones because the language level is pretty high, particularly the vocab! The historical ones are almost impossible because a lot of dictionaries don't list archaic language/weird olden day dialects. >< It's like Shakespeare...but in Japanese *cries*. xD
