ANIME NORTH 2011 IS OVER!!

The convention was fun to attend, but the drive going there and coming back was dreadful~

The amount of construction, pot holes, and crazy sleep deprived drivers on the road is scary...

But look at what I bought!! Here's the hotel bed before I put my purchases and after~

    

Not ALL the mangas that you see there are for me!! Half of it is actually for my three younger brothers as well as those monkeys that are laying on the pillows. They're basically slingshot monkeys!!

My driving buddy and my two other friends basically cackled as we saw the registration line-up. We all pre-registered, so we didn't have to wait in that crazy long line... Which is the mass of people that you see. We also saw a troll on this hotel room's door XD

OH!!

The one on the left (with the purple hair) is Queen Vivaldi from the manga (based on an otome game) Alice in the Country of Hearts.

The other one is the Red Queen from the movie Alice in Wonderland (the one by Tim Burton)

The drive back was horrible. My body is still in vacation mode, and I had a horrible day at work because I was lagging. BUT WE HAVE TO GO NEXT YEAR! Also, I love that troll face on the door--we saw that on the way to your room when we checked in, right? We are going to be seeing each other this summer, yes?

I guess not, but even as a passenger, sitting in traffic isn't a walk in the park.

Tessa said that if I'm attending AN 2012, she'll come too. But there's a chance Luke may attend next year as well, so our sleeping arrangements may be like what they were in 2009.

No one likes traffic. Hmm...you can wait a couple of days, right? I'm sure a couple of days won't make much difference. Since we know that being on different floors isn't an issue, it won't matter for next year--just as long as one of us can exchange keycards and such.

The Inuyasha crew looks kinda creepy. Are those all guys? O_O I've actually seen transformer outfits transform. It was cool and freaky at the same time.

If I remember correctly, they're ALL females...

But I only wanted to take the picture because of the Sango cosplayer since it was the best one that I saw at the convention with her realistic Hiraikotsu...

But the other characters were her friends and I would have felt bad to have singled out only the Sango character... ^^;;
