It's that time again! It's Mannequin Five Spring SP~

All their outfits this time around have flaws in them for me, which is centered around the bottom half of the outfits ^_^;;

I like one because of it's simplicity and elegance, but I do wish it was a little but more colorful. I also like two, but I disapprove of the rolled up pants and the shoes. Three would have been passable, if he wasn't wearing that PINK outer jacket. Had it been a red jacket, I would have voted for three, hands down. The fourth one immediately evoked a "WTF?!" reaction out of me the moment I laid eyes on it. Five would have also gotten my vote too, if it wasn't for the rolled up pants and the shoes...

So by a process of elimination, I like the first one since there's really nothing at fault with it aside from the lack of color in his outfit (which the fourth one immediately makes up for) exclamation1

In terms of who's wearing what... I have no idea... I've always got them wrong *fails*

4 was a total NO for me too...
I fine 1 to be too simple....Think its Ohno...
I love the accessories from 2 but I dont really like the overall look.
I guess Jun cos of the accessories....and he love that kinda soft jacket.

The coat in 3 is too long and destroy the whole balance...Nino like long jackets.... so could be him but the inside is so formal that I feel it will fit Sho better.
4 is totally ridiculous....I think it could be either Nino or Sho!
Though Aiba love colourful stuff!

I love the colour balance for 4.
And I love the jacket! So I'm voting for 4!
The rolled up pants could be Aiba!

You know, I don't think I've ever gotten any of them right at all... But I shall try to!

I did manage to be able to predict which outfits would come in first and last by the votes for the last M5 SP.

I will seriously die of laughter if Jun ends up getting last again for this SP, because that would prove to show that he has really bad fashion in the eyes of the female audience :3

I actually agree with you 100%! I voted for number 3 though. I really like MatsuJuns flashy pink and I think that mister to many layers is going to loose. Seriously, it's kind I obvious that is Nino and I would be surprised if it isn't him. Lol.

For the third one, I'm tempted to say it's Nino because of all the layers since he tends to favor layering when it comes to his choice of style.

However, another part of me thinks it's Jun because of that trench coat since it really does reminds me of Tsukasa when he played the role in HanaDan.

But then again, the fourth one also reminds me of Nino because of what he wore when they did that beat boxing segment in HnA...

Number 4 is terrible! ~~could it be sho again?~~

Number 3 looks so Domyouji-ppoi, but I doubt Jun would pull that look again...Therefore, this time around, I think Jun may go for number 2.

I don't know if Jun will end up wearing the pretty blue one, but going on accessories only, it does seem likely to be either Jun or Ohno :3

What I put:

It's simple, but could use some color
Something I see guys in their 40's wearing.
Nothing special
I would have to make him burn the outfit on the spot and walk around with him in his underwear.
The pants need to be rolled back down, but it's my favorite.

BTW I love the note they added for everyone outside of Japan to make sure to put your country. I feel the love. I wonder who's going to get the most votes per country?

I was pleasantly surprised that they asked for the country of origin and grinned happily. I seriously hope that they put in some more international comments from our votes :3

I think they will. After how much they talked about how was #1 in each country and all that, I think they took to the idea. Plus I'm sure they must think it's interesting to see what style fits what country.

I can forgive the shoes. really if they had been blue they would've been to matchy. Maybe if they had been plan white?...I don't know I'm not good at this stuff, but really if they had added anything else it could've been too much.

Ooo A belt might have been a good way to go. A little old school,but whatever.

Well this is what I get for thinking the guys had learned. After seeing the turn on I can say if I had just went with the good old "Oh this is so Aiba, This is Sho, This nino,etc" I would've been right. BUT NO! I had to think they were going to grow up and stick with being differant. ...Well at less my top 2 fav guys were wearing the top 2 outfits I liked.

What did you think about the turn out?

When I was watching it live, I ended up smacking myself mentally!

. It made sense for Sho to wear what he wore because he is a newscaster
. Then for Jun's outfit, I did think it was his style because of the accessories (but I also saw Ohno wearing this in my head).
. Nino's outfit because he tends to wear layers of clothing
. Aiba because he wanted to be novel and get another position besides third or fourth place
. Ohno with his expensive tastes and ossan poi aura~

I never end up getting any of the outfits correctly, but I'm able to guess correctly who would be first and last (maybe I should guest on that show and get the 100 000Y)

Wouldn't be great if they let teh viewers have a chance to win the money instead of the guest?

I completely agree with you on the pants note for the last mannequin. I seriously hate rolled up pants and the shoes need to be different ^^;;
