I’m totally spazzed out right now!! d(>W<)b

I went to the Video Games Live (VGL) concert that was held here in Montréal today (Saturday, April 30th, 2011) and it was a freaking amazing experience! I’m more than happy to have attended it!!

I met Tessa at 5:30PM and as we were walking to the metro she kept saying that she knew something that I didn’t know. I asked how her family was and she mentioned that her brother Luke was doing a concert tonight at the Place des Arts that he didn’t know about. Which I thought was weird since the VGL ended at 10:30PM. But maybe he had practice afterwards or it was in another room? She also mentioned that her older brother, Eric, tried to get a ticket to the VGL, but they were all sold out when he checked this morning. This made me feel guilty for not having made reservations for tickets for her two older brothers…

We were going to meet Lisa at 6:30PM at the Berri UQAM metro station. Primarily it was because Lisa and Tessa have never met, so I wanted them to meet each other as well as get to know each other before we go to the Lion King musical which will be held next week~! Secondly it was to show them both were the bus terminal was since we’re taking Megabus to get to Toronto.

After showing them were the bus terminal was, we walked to Place des Arts, which was where the event was. There was some dispute about the direction in which we were headed. Lisa was using her iPhone’s GPS and I was reading the map. Lisa motioned that it was one way, and I disagreed that it was in the other direction. In the end, I won X3

Our seats were located on the balcony level (so we were high up). I didn’t mind that we were high up at all since it was still an amazing experience!! The event was spectacular!! The symphony orchestra was from McGill University (BWAHAHA! MY UNIVERSITY!!). For those of you who are unaware of what Video Games Live is, it’s basically combining video games played by a symphony orchestra. So imagine the Mario theme song played by a live orchestra and on the screen you see the character and there’s also a light show <33

I thought it would be best to mention that the last group shop photo with the five of them isn't part of the concert venue shop photos for Dream "A" Live, but since I had it on hand, I decided to include it in as well.

I finally got around to finish watching the Korean drama "Playful Kiss", not all the softsubs are out yet, but it's the Korean adaptation of the manga "Itazura na Kiss" and the Taiwanese adaptation of "It Started With A Kiss". So if you've read the manga, saw the anime or drama, it's relatively easy to follow and understand (despite the language barrier) <3

I absolutely love and adore the teddy bears used to depict a scene within the episode and ended up making 30 avatar icons in total. It's a bit excessive I guess? ^^;;

All my plans that I had for this weekend have all been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances to my friend whom was hosting the sleepover... I was really looking forward to this weekend too since I would be meeting up my friends that I haven't seen in a long time and it was going to be my one weekend where I would have fun since school started... It was also carefully arranged too to coincide with the Lantern Festival as well as the Hallowe'en theme park we were going to attend... The only next possible time for us to meet up would have to be late November in order to celebrate my birthday... But even then I don't know if it's possible since I have midterms to study for and essays to write... TT^TT

So I thought, what better way to cheer me up than to share shop photos that I have?! <3

In terms of the results from the polling that I did in the last entry, I've decided to implement both of them since they're so close in numbers. Though I was laughing when I saw that 50% of you all voted for "I love you Corrine~! <3"

So yes, I've decided to scan and upload the shop photos as I get them.  However, once I've finish gathering a photoshoot, I'll organize the scans and make a masterlist or something. But keep in mind, that won't be for a while...

I've finally finished all the midterms and essays that are the month of October~! For the rest of the month it'll be FREEDOM~! (Aside from my Japanese tests)[Poll #1629081]
