First Outing of 2011
I was able to drag Tessa and Luke with me to attend Le Grands Salons Marions-Nous which is Canada's largest bridal exhibition yesterday on Saturday (January 8th, 2011) hearts

IT WAS SO PRETTY AND THE CAKES THAT WERE PRESENTED WERE GORGEOUS~! I was walking around dragging those two introverts around to see the booths and being uber happy about it by flailing about because of the prettyness arrowup

There are a lot more photos that I took of some more of the decorated cakes, but at the rate that I'm going at this post will be entirely composed of cake and none of the wedding gowns that I took pictures of sparkles

This picture is of a lady who's IN the table and it's so cool~! She was really nice and let me take some pictures of her while doing different poses each time X3 What she would do is talk to some people then walk towards them and then they'd freak out only just realizing that she was in the table all along~! It makes sense why people wouldn't register her being in the table since many of the people who were representatives were wearing bridal gowns gem

Then I took a whole bunch of pictures during the fashion show which presented bridal dresses as well as tuxedos for men. I took more pictures of the bridal gowns than the tuxedos since they all looked the same to me with the colors being different *bricked* However, I do have one pictures of the male models wearing tuxedos that I liked and approved of <3

After the fashion show ended there were a lot more people that were at the exhibition and the three of us deemed it was best to leave the convention since it was getting overcrowded. So we went exploring to get food and I bought a crepe that I shared with the other two and they bought slush cake

I'm one of those weirdos who always like to eat my sweets first before my meals as I find that if you were to eat your sugar filled desserts at the end of a meal, you're more likely to develop cavities because the sugar's in the molars of your teeth. But if you eat afterward, no more sugar~! cat

Luke had the fried beef udon noodles and Tessa has soup udon noodles which I think is boring since they always eat "safe" foods. I blame Arashi for my open mindedness to try out new foods. If it wasn't for Arashi no Shukudai-kun, I would probably never try new foods rice

I had the Korean food called Bibimbap where you have a whole bunch of ingredients topped on top of rice. You're supposed to pour the two sauces in the bowl and then mix/stir all the ingredients together thoroughly before you eat it. I've been wanting to eat it for a while know because of the influence from Korean dramas and I found a recipe here heart1

IT WAS REALLY GOOD~! hearts I want to eventually make it at home one day, but now that the school semester has commenced, I won't be able to until next weekend since I have a quiz on Monday and a test on Wednesday to study for...

wow the first cake reminds me monster-arashi ^^.
They're all so cute but the one I love the most is the one with little pink flowers one the side ^^ It's so cute ^^
There are so many gowns and they're so gorgeous. I think I want to try Bibimbap too =) You're right after I watch, AnS I'm more open to new things for eating XD

I know!! I also love the Sakura one very much~! I don't need a crazy fancy cake, but one that's simple and elegant

It's so weird how Arashi influences us so much with food ne?!

My three younger brothers were also very picky with food, but after seeing the things that they ate on AnS (like the dancing live octopus), they're more adventurous with their foods.

They've adopted the idea that they can decide to like or not like it as long as they've tried it. They think that since Arashi has eaten such weird foods and are still alive, they might as well try it <3

well that dancing live octopus is really extreme. I couldn't even watch it properly =D

The theory is logical though, if even they haven't died yet because of the food they eat-especially riida, I mean he ate some 11 years old rotten things, he eats everything - we won't too XD
