Ooooh~!

Is that how you write "樂" in simplified Chinese?

Yup!
In Singapore we use simplified chinese :3
Only in Taiwan and Hong Kong do they still use traditional chinese for education :>

But how do you type traditional chinese on the keyboard? I never figured that out hahaha /fail

HAHAHAAA~

Oooh~! When I went to Chinese school here, they taught in traditional Chinese characters... So I guess they're following Hong Kong since we spoke in Cantonese TT^TT

I actually have no idea how to type in Chinese (though I do know how to type Japanese) with the keyboard. I borrow mom's writing pad to write out Chinese characters. Her writing pad supports both traditional and simplified characters...

Mom writes in simplified (though she can read both simplified and traditional characters), and I can only write in traditional characters. Though it's a pain for me since I have to write so many more strokes than she does...

Take for example the "樂" character and compare it with yours TT^TT

Woah so cool!
I've always wanted to learn how to write Chinese, traditional version since Mummy's from Taiwan haha!

For me I type simplified Chinese with han yu pinyin with the keyboard, very similar to the way you type Japanese with the keyboard, but I know for traditional Chinese the letters ont eh keyboard represent the different strokes ^^;

My mum writes in traditional Chinese (she can read both simplified and traditional too hahaha)

Yeah traditional chinese is a pain to write, but it reflects the chinese culture so much more. >
