Haha! I seriously thought I had to manually import my lj entries!

I thought the same exact thing at first when I created the DW, but after browsing around on DW, I noticed there was something that said "content import" <33

I don't know how to create an account :) I have to get a creation code right?

You need a creation code in order to create a DW account. But you don't need one if you plan on buying a premium account ^^;;

DW layout and function is practically the same thing as LJ and you can content import all your entries from LJ to DW which is really useful!!

Our importer is smart enough to retry an import a few times if the process times out before giving up completely, but minimizing the traffic that LJ needs to cope with can only help them out."

If yours was aborted, that means the DW server attempted several times before it gave up ^^;; But it's also because of the massive amount of people who are importing their contents and because LJ is still messing up...

i asked dreamwidth studios for advise, they said to wait a few days when its back to normal, since lj is blocking i think =3=

You should try importing again when you can since at the moment, everyone is trying to import all their content from LJ

I'm pretty sure you're not the only one who's importing all their content from LJ to be compatible for DW.

I was lucky to be able to have all my stuff imported before all the madness occured XD
