I attended David Suzuki's "The Legacy" Lecture <3
I'm a nerd, I know... And I'm damn proud of it~!

But I'm really happy that I had the privilege to have had attended David Suzuki's lecture. Even more happily that I was able to lecture record his presentation <3 *pats her lecture recorder lovingly*

Growing up, I did projects about him in school when I was asked who my role model was. And till this day, he still is a major role model for me. I grew up watching his documentary television shows "The Nature of Things" and I still try to watch his documentaries when I'm not killed by my school work load...

He even autographed my two books for me~! *sorry for the blurry pictures, I was trying not to flail too much*

These are my two signed books <3 The one on the left is from his newest book "The Legacy" and the one on the right (with the butterfly) is his "You Are the Earth" book~!

Here's the lecture recording of his appearance that I attended for those who are interested. Since McGill University is situated in Canada, he does address some things within Canada *coughs*likeourPrimeMinister*coughs*

It was the best lecture that I ever had in my life~! It was a really fun lecture and the jokes were amazing <3

Just a note, the beginning of the recording is the woman introducing David Suzuki and then afterwards, we watched a trailer for the upcoming of Suzuki's movie "Force of Nature" that is to be released on October 1st (Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa) and October 15th (Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Vancouver, Victoria, and Winnipeg).

For the first two weeks of the release, every dollar from the ticket will be sent to David Suzuki Foundation where they will use the money to help find solutions to our growing crisis of global climate change!

EH?!

You're university also has super slow Wi-Fi?! *bursts out laughing* McGill's Wi-Fi is usually faster than the one that I have at my house... And you already know how fast my internet speed at home is XD

I think MU is being finicky, I can't download anything via MU from their link site (after I click download). So I've been using MegaManager for the time being <3

Bahhhhhh... you always have your superior internet wherever you go!

BWAHAHAHAAA~!

It's true, us Canadians have faster and superior internet *bricked*

And you definitely shouldn't watch AnS in a quiet library!! It doesn't work that way~! You'll burst out laughing!! Plus, that would be rather rude of you for those who are going to the library to study!!

I'm already smiling here, trying hard to keep my bursts of laughter from polluting the quietness of the library!

And my connection is so bad that I can't even stay logged into msn!
