Shall we date?: "KONKATSU" RINTARO WASHIO  
As I mentioned in the introduction post (HERE), I've decided to keep track of the correct answers for the characters from the iPod's otome game "Shall we date?: "KONKATSU" for marriage" since I haven't been able to find a guide on the net. This post will be the walkthrough solution for Rintaro Washio exclamation1

Washio is definitely my favorite character out of all the suitors available in this particular game~! I'm not entirely sure why, but I do have a faint idea that it might be because of his commanding presence that he gives off with his aura when he speaks with you. However, I think it's a superficial thing that I prefer him for his looks because his character does smoke and I'm against smoking... nosmoking

Despite there being three endings associated with each character, only the happy ending (which is referred to as Happy Wedding) will be the only one meriting an event picture. The two other endings (normal and bad) do not have pictures linked to them. This is the picture rewarded to you if you get your Happy Wedding with him. Summary of the ending will not be provided to avoid spoilers of this endearing ending hearts


Please remember that you can obtain the Happy Wedding in this game as long as you choose the correct answers. It does not necessarily mean that you need to choose the correct events to attend to get the happy ending, but you must choose the correct event to finish the character's album. I will mention which event that you should attend in order to get the pretty pictures to complete the character's album sparkles

hello again.

ok so i did EVERYTHING to the LETTER with washio and i got normal ending, each time i had the choice of a b or c i checked which one it was on here TWICE even 3 times and got the normal ending!

URG :(

also it never gave me the option of 'yes' on here. i never got to that point. the hast of the 3 chioces was the 'i'll miss you' one.

last comment sorry, but also each time the yellow starts came up since you said before that happens for the right answer, EACH time i chose the answers on here it had those yellow star things come up. so i dont know what i did wrong..

I'm so happy that you found out what happened that was preventing you from getting the happy ending with him *grins happily*

May I inquire what you were doing wrong that kept leading you to get the normal ending?

heheh ^^' at the end both times that it said 'i was worried' i chose it twice insteaad of saying 'cant leave you'

Were you also able to figure out why you weren't able to get the happy ending with Keito as well?

Ack! i completely forgot about keito cause he was hard to play, i didnt like him very much..

meh.. i'll probably go back to his part one day sometime when im really bored.

i probably just mis-read something or accidentally chose the wrong choice.

I enjoyed this route too (Momoki's was my favorite though lmao), although the pool scene annoyed me.

It seems like in every otome game i've played the main girl you play as can't swim worth anything and I'm a really good swimmer so I end up smacking my forehead like "REALLY?"

YES! I know what you mean!!

I can also swim really well and took lessons when I was younger, so I also end up face palming when I read scenarios where the character you're playing end up drowning.

I think the pool scene annoyed me as well, but for a different reason. Washio is all sweet to you in front of people saying that he's with you, BUT then reverts to an arrogant person whom you want to drown in the pool because he used you as a human shield.

I'm not even really sure WHY I liked his route so much, though, 'cause I was pretty irritated at every turn from his kind of weird mood swings. But I did like it. i da naaaaa

*rant* The pool scene annoyed me for a few different reasons. Though I admit I can't swim very well (I dog-paddle. LMAO), I CAN swim. ><' Also, Washio can be quite annoying with his personality sometimes... Yet I STILL like his route! Gosh. When I get a steady boyfriend, he's probably gonna turn out to be a real b*stard! ><# *end rant*
Okay, now that I've flipped out a little, I want to say thank you for these answers. If I tried going at this by my self, I would always get the worst possible ending. *remembers Kotaro's route in Ninja Love* =_='

*Sorry 'bout that rant. Stress buildup isn't a good thing to have. ^^' Anyways, thanks as always! :D

Oh dear, I believe you're still both mentally scarred and traumatized from Kotaro's route.

But I agree, I had a love/hate relationship with this character. I liked that he was so domineering and felt proud when I wore him down and conquered his heart. Like you, I'll probably have a boyfriend who's a real b@stard as well ^^;;

However, I think I'm just attracted to characters who wears glasses...

Whooo! To us poor suckers *gives a half hearted cheer*

I actually got the normal route (where he leaves you) during my first play through and I was majorly pissed off about it, and was absolutely determined to get my happy ending with him!

But yeah, I thought the 'Happy Wedding' ending was pretty nice. (yay for the 'princess carry'! XD) Though most of the time i felt like a little mouse being hunted by an owl. O_o

I agree; most good-looking guys + glasses= One smexy beast. ಠ3ಠ

And getting the normal or bad end is the worst. >3< Especially when you get emotionally attached because you get into character.
